Her Glowing Green Smoothie is one of my all-time favorites; I drink it for breakfast, and love starting my morning with ton of veggies in the form of a just-sweet-enough smoothie.
A new smoothie from her recipe hub HoneyBee may just be my new favorite dessert. Not only does it taste just like mint chip ice cream, but it can also help with bone and gut health. Featuring healthy and wholesome ingredients like mint, which is considered soothing and, when steeped in a tea form, an aid to indigestion and an upset stomach. The coconut water and meat create a creamy, dairy-free base. As Kimberly notes, “Naturally sweet, coconut is incredibly hydrating, which is critical for your health, your beauty, and your overall energy.” Get ready to feel energized after drinking this minty, chocolaty smoothie.
- 1 cup coconut water
- ½ cup young raw coconut meat
- 1 frozen ripe banana
- 6 mint leaves
- ½ teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1 tablespoon cacao nibs
- Place all ingredients into Vitamix (or blender) and blend until all the ingredients are smooth.
- Garnish with extra cacao nibs and a mint leaf, and enjoy!
